A message from the Carson City Community Development Department:
The Carson City Community Development Department would like all those in the construction industry to know that the Building Division is continuing to process building permits and conduct permit inspections during this period of office closures. Applicants may continue to apply for building permits through the online permit portal at permitcenter.carson.org. Building Division staff may also be contacted for assistance with permits at (775) 887-2310 or via email at bldgdiv@carson.org.
The Building Division’s office is closed for walk-in services through the period of the Governor’s COVID-19 directive in accordance with the recommendations from the Nevada Health Response COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Initiative. Building Division staff will continue to be available to help during regular office hours via phone or email as noted above.
The Carson City Building Division will continue to work with the construction industry as things development over the next weeks and months to ensure continued building permit services. The City departments involved in the building permit review process will continue to do their best in getting permits processed in a timely manner.
