The biggest issue facing our industry in the coming years is the lack of a skilled workforce. By educating our youth about the opportunities that exist, developing the programs necessary for them to flourish, and forming valuable collaborative partnerships, we ensure our industry’s future success.

A collaborative effort of the major construction industry associations in Nevada, BuildNV.org is full of resources and information for job-seekers, students, military and anyone considering a career in Nevada’s construction industry. In addition, BuildNV works with area schools across the state to provide information on the many career opportunities in our industry by providing speakers, attending school career days and more.

EmployNV.gov is THE place to post job openings. Not only does BuildNV.org provide a link for job seekers, but by having our industry companies post openings on this state-run site, it allows the state to have accurate data about demand and job growth in our industry. In addition to job postings, EmployNV. gov also allows employers to search for qualified candidates.

We are happy to partner with Join, Inc. and Workforce Connections to assist our member companies in filling in-demand positions across the state. Programs are available to provide pre-screened and trained workers as well as subsidizing wages for up to three months.

The Nevada Builders Foundation supports construction education by offering scholarships to all four of Nevada’s community colleges for candidates wishing to develop or expand their education and skills in the construction field.
