I attended the Pacific Coast Builders Conference a couple weeks ago and thought I would share some information: For the first time nationally there are more jobs available than people to fill them. The small business optimism index is the highest it’s ever been. While we are deep into a long upward cycle there are few indicators that a recession will hit anytime soon. Multi-family construction will continue to be strong due to affordability issues with single family.
